Fort Klock, photo taken about 1937. The story I was told was:
Tthe hired man burned down the big Dutch Barn and Mr. Klock had heart attack. The family moved out of the house soon after. The house stood uninhabited and was pillaged during the many years before the Tryon County Muzzle Loaders restored it. The group became Fort Klock Historic Restoration.
